Participation is invited on many different levels concluding with the launches and public outings of locally generated content. Jessica's concepts marry playful participation with rich aesthetics leading to these public outcomes that are acclaimed for their production values. And because the formats have been tested in multiple locations around the world, you know what you are programming is going to succeed.

Jessica is a leader in low impact touring. Her models are not CO2 intensive because she travels without a team or freight, and works with local artists you choose to deliver her projects.

Art Poll Projects

Private participation is transformed into public artworks using digital forms to elicit uninhibited responses that produce potent metaphorical content. Participants then opt-in for a photo-shoot that expresses their answers and results in a public exhibition. Art Polls are developed with a local photographer or visual artist.

I See You Like This

Roles are reversed when children consider a parent's personality before using their face as the canvas for a professional photo-portrait. ISYLT invites parent/child pairs to ticketed sessions to produce photographs for major exhibitions. Children reveal their artworks to their parent/adult for the first time in festival style launches that also enable a free ‘en-masse’ version of the same process.

Child Nation

Child Nation’s interactive digital guides enable children to explore places in new ways. These self-guided experiences start with a child hijacking an adult’s device and answering fun conversation-like questions as they move around a location. There are more than 25 adventures to choose from, all of which customise with each different child’s answers. Child Nation can be accessed via onsite installations such as the kiosk or customised signage that we design. Child Nation is often programmed into libraries and theatre foyers, has a school product version and is currently in development as a public park experience for children.

Interactive Walks For Children

In just two weeks, Jessica makes digital walks that guide children to interact with your public art or exhibitions in new ways. These walks use the child’s answers to customise their experience build a feeling of permission and belonging by enabling children to project their own ideas onto the things they see around them.

The Wayfinders

This intergenerational work invites a handful of local ten-year-old children to each participate in a one-hour immersive workshops with Jessica. With a recording device attached they wander around chatting whilst on a phone call with Jessica, and their answers recorded. The incredible content that emerges from this process of uninhibited response to an outdoor site, is then mapped back onto the place using a location triggering system for public performances for 4-7 year old children.
